Bach in the Subways 2015

On the occasion of Bach's 330th Birthday Sat Mar 21 2015,  Tafelmusik violinists Patricia Ahern and Christopher Verrette engaged audiences with a series of four impromptu mini-performances (20-30 minutes each) at four unique venues along Toronto's Bloor Street Culture Corridor: Toronto Reference Library, Gardiner Museum, Miles Nadal JCC and the ROM.
These performances were presented as part of the world-wide movement 'Bach in the Subways Day'. Every year on Mar 21, musicians around the world celebrate Bach by offering performances in subways, public spaces, and concerts open to all. Tafelmusik was glad to bring the sounds of baroque music to our city.
