Bach in the Subways 2015

Join Tafelmusik in wishing Bach a Happy 330th Birthday on Saturday March 21, 2015.

FREE solo performances by Tafelmusik violinists Patricia Ahern and Christopher Verrette.

Part of the world-wide movement Bach in the Subways Day. Every year on March 21st, musicians around the world celebrate Bach in the Subways Day by offering performances in subways, public spaces, and concerts open to all. The music is given freely as a gift, and as an invitation to further explore classical music.

Performances will last approximately 20-30 minutes at each venue.

    Note: Performance is free, and will take place in the lobby – no admission to museum required! 
    ENHANCE YOUR EXPERIENCE with a visit of the Museum following the performance and enjoy a special docent tour at 2pm to celebrate Bach further –  learn about his era and life through the extraordinary objects in the Gardiner Museum’s galleries. (Adult $15. Senior and Student rates also available)
