Series 1, 8

Bohemian composer Johann Baptist Vanhal and Salzburg’s native son Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart saw their careers flourish in Vienna, while the Italian cellist Luigi Boccherini composed music with a distinctive Spanish flair after settling in Madrid. Travel with them to their adopted cities in this program of bright and charming classical gems for oboe and string trio.

These intimate, hour-long concerts, presented in an informal style with introductions from the musicians. Explore new aspects of Tafelmusik repertoire with an up close and personal encounter with the music.
