Financial assistance may be made available to participants who, due to financial constraints, would not otherwise be able to participate in the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute. The Application for Financial Assistance and supporting documents must be submitted by March 20, 2008 in order to be considered.

Tafelmusik is pleased to offer three special awards for students attending the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute. These awards were launched in 2007 to honour Jeanne Lamon's 25th anniversary as Music Director and the 25th anniversary of the Tafelmusik Chamber Choir, with Ivars Taurins as Choir Director. We also honour Charlotte Nediger for her work with young artists as Artistic Coordinator of the TBSI, as well as her 28 years with Tafelmusik. The Jeanne Lamon Award, Ivars Taurins Award and Charlotte Nediger Award will be given to a string player, singer and harpsichordist/lutenist respectively. All successful applicants will be considered for the awards.
