1. What's the best way to find what I'm looking for?
The Tafelmusik shop can be searched by release date, top sellers, composer, title and by compilations. You can also conduct a keyword search.
 
 
2. My order was shipped, but it hasn't arrived yet. Where is it?
Shipping within Canada normally takes 1-3 weeks. US orders can expect 3-6 weeks for delivery. International orders (shipping outside of Canada) please allow from 4-8 weeks for delivery. Please contact Martin or Derek in the Box Office at 416.964.6337 if you have not received your order within this time frame.
 
 
3. I need to return one or more items from my order. How do I arrange for a return?
Once your order has been placed you have 24 hours to contact our Box Office and make any adjustments. If your items have already shipped, please wait until you receive them before contacting the Box Office at 416.964.6337.

4. How do I cancel or make changes to my order?

6. Does Tafelmusik ship outside of the U.S. and Canada?
 
Yes! Tafelmusik Shop ships world-wide. 
 
7. How much do you charge for shipping? 
 
Shipping fees are as follows:
  • Within Canada: $2.94*
  • United States: $4.99*
  • International: $6.45*
*CAD. 13% HST included. Prices are calculated per items being shipped.

1. What is a FLAC file?
FLAC is a lossless compression format for audio, that compresses an audio file without removing any of the original audio. more info
 
All Tafelmusik FLAC files are encoded at 24-bit/96-kHz or 24-bit/192-kHz. 
 
2. How can I play a FLAC file?
 
FLAC files can only be played properly with certain programs that support this file type. Two popular options are:
‚ÄĘ VLC Player (available for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems)¬†
‚ÄĘ Foobar 2000
There is also a plug-in available that enables Windows Media Player to read FLAC files called the Directshow filter.
Please note: iTunes does not support FLAC, but Tafelmusik provides high-quality MP3 files with all FLAC orders. 
 
 
3. What is the quality of Tafelmusik Shop MP3 files?
 
All MP3 downloads from Tafelmusik are 320-kilobits-per-second ("320-bit") files compatible with iPods and other portable media players. Tafelmusik music downloads are copyrighted material sold for personal use only and should not be otherwise copied or distributed. All digital audio downloads on this site are available for sale to customers around the world.
 
 
4. How do I listen to the music I downloaded?
 
Once you download your music onto your computer you can easily add the MP3 files to your iTunes, Window Media Player, or other music playing software by either dragging and dropping the files into  your library or importing the files through the main menu of iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc. Click here for a full DOWNLOAD TUTORIAL
 
 
5. Can I get my downloads to play on my smartphone (or iPad, or tablet)?
 
Yes!
1) You must first purchase your MP3 files on a desktop or laptop computer.
2) Once downloaded, open the files in with your music player of choice (iTunes, Windows Media Player etc), add them to your library.
3) Synchronize your smartphone or other mobile device to transfer the music 
4) Enjoy!
 
Due to the nature of this technology, downloading directly to portable devices such as phones and tablets running iOS or Android is not currently supported.
