Tafelmusik is committed to honoring published performance schedules, and all performances will proceed as scheduled, regardless of weather conditions. Tickets not used due to inclement weather cannot be refunded.
During inclement weather, please allow for plenty of extra travel time, and consider using public transit.
For the safety and comfort of all patrons and performers, latecomers are not permitted to enter the hall or be seated unless there is a suitable break in the performance (usually intermission). Patrons leaving the hall during a performance, or returning late from intermission will not be readmitted. To ensure a full and enjoyable visit with us, please carefully check the performance start time on your tickets, and plan to arrive early.
The use of cameras, video cameras or sound-recording devices of any kind is prohibited. These devices must be checked in with ushers before entering the auditorium. Any person using an unauthorized device will be required to surrender or erase any recordings, photographic or digital images and will be asked to leave. No refunds will be issued.
Please turn off all electronic devices before the concert begins. Please speak with an usher if you require assistance.
All patrons, including children, must have a ticket for the performance. Children 15 years of age or under must be accompanied by and sat next to an adult. Children should be able to sit quietly through the performance. If unable to do so, children and their accompanying adult will be asked to leave the hall. Babes-in-arms will not be admitted.
Wheelchair seating must be arranged at time of purchase. Requests received on the day of a performance may not be accommodated, due to seat location availability. Please let us know about any mobility devices or special needs when you book your tickets with us. Limited accessible seating is available at various price levels at each venue as follows:
Jeanne Lamon Hall at Trinity St.-Paul’s Centre: exclusively on the orchestra level.
Koerner Hall at the TELUS Centre for Learning: on all levels of the auditorium.
George Weston Recital Hall at the Toronto Centre for the Arts: on all levels of the auditorium.
While many of our patrons choose to dress for a nice evening out, our audience is very diverse in their choice of fashion. There is no formal dress code, and patrons are invited to dress comfortably. Many people will opt to dress as Smart or Business Casual.
Go scent free! In consideration of patrons with allergies, please avoid wearing scented beauty products and fragrances.
Aside from water, food and drink is not permitted in the hall. Regular bar and food service is available at venues other than Jeanne Lamon Hall, where intermission refreshments are available during intermission.
