Join us for Mozart’s jubilant “Linz” Symphony and Haydn’s Symphony No. 82, nicknamed “The Bear” for the growly bass part and chortling bassoons in the finale. And the twist? Guest Director Sigiswald Kuijken, a pioneer of the early music movement as well as Music Director Jeanne Lamon’s violin teacher, will round off the concert with the Canadian premiere of a Bach suite played on a viola da spalla. |
