France and England – two countries that have been intertwined since their early beginnings, close in geography and yet so distinct musically. We’ll explore the music of both in this special concert, featuring Purcell’s Sonata in four parts, Leclair’s Récréation de musique, and Couperin’s Concerts royaux.

Looking to delve deeper into the music? This year we are excited to present a brand new series of hour-long concerts, presented in an informal style with introductions from the musicians. You’ll discover new aspects of the repertoire in the intimate setting of Heliconian Hall and The Temerty Theatre at the TELUS Centre, both in Toronto’s stylish Yorkville district, all complete with coffee and treats.
