Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute

May 29-June 11, 2017  

The Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute (TBSI) is a world-renowned training program in instrumental and vocal baroque performance practice, led by some of the world's finest musicians in the field. This comprehensive training program includes:

  • masterclasses in solo repertoire
  • orchestra and choir rehearsals
  • chamber ensembles
  • opera scene study for singers
  • private lessons
  • lectures and workshops
  • classes in baroque dance
  • concerts by both participants and faculty

The Institute is held at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto. We invite advanced students, pre-professional, and professional musicians to apply.
