Susan Suchard is an active soprano soloist, choral singer, teacher and conductor. Having completed a Master of Music in Performance with a specialty in vocal pedagogy at the University of Toronto in 2010, Susan is pleased to teach a growing number of students in her private voice studio. She conducts the preparatory chorus for the VIVA Youth Singers of Toronto and initiated a choral program at Adam Beck Junior Public School in the Beaches. For Tapestry New Opera Works, she was assistant conductor for Sanctuary Song and conducted the Northern Ontario school tour of James Rolfe’s Elijah’s Kite. She was privileged to be an intern with Tapestry’s Leadership Legacy Program last season. This season she will be working as a vocal coach/conductor with Jumblies Theatre on a work by Canadian composer Juliet Palmer. She is also an artist/educator for the Canadian Opera Company.
