Soprano Carrie Loring sings regularly with Tafelmusik.  Best known as host of TV Ontario’s Polka Dot Door, she has also performed with the Elmer Iseler Singers, Elora Festival Singers, Bach Festival Singers, Toronto Consort, Soundstreams, Opera Atelier, and most recently with The Black Creek Festival.  Carrie has toured coast to coast with numerous children’s shows, and has sung on 16 CD recordings, including Classical Kids’ Juno award-winning Mozart’s Magnificent Voyage. She also performs as a studio singer in television and film. Enjoying the challenge of singing in different styles, Carrie has performed in the cast of Sondheim in September, and can be heard in the TV series The Tudors, most notably under the beheading of Anne Boleyn!  When not singing, Carrie is a busy baseball Mom to her teenage son Lee, also a singer.
