Tenor Robert Kinar studied in Montreal and at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he completed a Master's degree in Performance Practice. Since locating to Toronto Robert has been a soloist for several groups in the region including the Guelph Symphony Orchestra,  Grand River Chorus, Toronto Masque Theatre, Tallis Choir and Toronto Chamber Choir.  As a member of Tafelmusik, he has been a soloist in Haydn's Saint Nicholas Mass and Charpentier's In nativitatem, and has also enjoyed working with projects such as the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute.
