Tafelmusik - Meet the Choir

Robert KinarTenor Robert Kinar studied in Montreal and at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he completed a Master's degree in Performance Practice. He has been featured in numerous Montreal performances, including Mozart's Requiem, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, and several of Bach's cantatas. Since locating to Toronto, Robert has appeared with various groups in the region including the Guelph Symphony Orchestra,  Grand River Chorus, Toronto Masque Theatre, Tallis Choir and the recently formed Larkin Singers. As a member of Tafelmusik, he has been a soloist in performances of Haydn's Saint Nicholas Mass and Charpentier's In nativitatem, as well as on the Tafelmusik recording Gloria.  Robert teamed up with oboist James Mason to perform R.V.Williams' Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience at the Elora Festival. Along with various independent and studio projects, Robert has also enjoyed solo performances with Video Games Live and the Final Fantasy Distant Worlds tour.
