Tafelmusik - Meet the Choir

Ariel Harwood-JonesWinnipeg-born soprano, Ariel Harwood-Jones, a graduate of the University of Toronto in Vocal Performance, has sung with such organizations as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian Brass, Elora Festival Singers, Elmer Iseler Singers, Nexus, Toronto Consort, and Mississauga Choral Society. This season will mark her tenth year singing with Tafelmusik Chamber Choir. Ariel's voice can be heard on many recordings, including "Sacred Brass" with Canadian Brass, "Welcome my Lord Sir Christèmas" with the Toronto Chamber Choir, and "Partesni Motets" with Musicus Bortnianskii. Her choral recordings include "Messiah Choruses", "Bach Motets" and "Chants Sacrés et Profanes" with Tafelmusik, "The Glory of Palestrina" with the Elmer Iseler Singers, and "Vaughan Williams - Mass in G Minor" with the Elora Festival Singers. Recently she received her Diploma in Interior Design and is now working for ZAS Architects in Toronto. She shares her home with her husband of 22 years and her five cats.
