Nova Scotia-born mezzo-soprano Nancy deLong has sung lead roles with opera companies throughout eastern Canada, notably with L’Opéra de Montréal. Nancy has toured with the Atlantic Symphony, Jeunesses Musicales (Rosina in Le Barbier de Seville), and the Tudor Singers. She received excellent reviews for her shows at the 2002 Toronto Fringe Festival, and Lenya Remembers Weill at the summer music series “Music on the Rideau” in 2003. She is presently alto soloist at the Church of the Redeemer, is a member of the Board of Examiners for the Royal Conservatory of Toronto, and maintains a private voice studio in the city.
