Violinist Patricia Ahern was educated at Northwestern University, Indiana University, and the Schola Cantorum in Basel, Switzerland. She taught baroque violin at the Freiburg Conservatory in Germany and has concertized in Europe, Australia and Chile. She has performed with Milwaukee Baroque, Ars Antigua, Chicago Opera Theater, Kingsbury Ensemble, Newberry Consort, and at the Bloomington Early Music Festival. With Duo Marini she released the CD La Desperata, which was featured on NPR’s Harmonia. Tricia  joined Tafelmusik in 2002.
