Soprano Brenda Enns has been a member of Tafelmusik since 2000. Prior to moving to Toronto in 1996, Brenda performed with Pro Coro Canada and the Richard Eaton Singers in her hometown of Edmonton, and with the Victoria Choral Society, the Choir of St. John the Divine, and Linden Singers while earning a Master’s Degree in Historical Musicology at the University of Victoria. In Toronto, Brenda has continued her pursuit of choral performance with such groups as the Amadeus Choir, Aradia Ensemble, Exultate Chamber Singers, Soundstreams, Theatre of Early Music, Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, Mendelssohn Singers, Bach Consort, Opera Atelier, and the Elora Festival Singers. She has also been soprano lead and chorister at numerous downtown churches, such as St. Thomas Anglican and St. James Cathedral. In addition to Tafelmusik performances, Brenda can be heard most Wednesday evenings at the St. George’s-on-the-Hill candlelight service in Etobicoke.
